Dr. Ghassan MuslehMSc, MBChB

Dr. Ghassan Musleh is a consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon. He is trained and qualified in the United Kingdom. He has a thorough experience in all aspects of cardiac and thoracic surgery. In particular, he is interested in doing mitral valve repair and coronary artery surgery using both on pump and off pump techniques.  His aim is to use his expertise in advancing cardiac and thoracic surgery in Jordan and he is keen to provide the best and high standard medical services to his patients Currently, Dr. Musleh is working in the private sector as a consultant cardio-thoracic surgeon through his private clinic in Amman. He has been accredited to work in almost all private hospitals in Amman as well as working as a part timer in the Islamic hospital. Dr. Musleh is interested in teaching, He enjoys teaching during ward round through explaining symptoms, showing signs, reading x-rays and other investigations, discussing the cases and planing the management in an interactive. He attended a “Teaching the Teachers” course at Manchester University to Improve his presentation skills and he is constantly seeking to improve his technique by observing other presenters and by obtaining feedback from his audience. Currently Dr. Musleh is an assistant professor at the medical school at Jordan University for Science and Technology where teaching of medical students is an essential part of his duties as well as attending the post graduate teaching activities of junior doctors.
